Italian Singing Sensation PatrizioDate: 9.3.10COLDWATER, MI—International singing sensation Patrizio has been called an Italian Michael Buble` and compared to Frank Sinatra or Harry Connick, Jr. and Tibbits is lucky enough to present him in a must see event on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010.
Patrizio Buanne inspired by the original crooners, takes on the timeless art of delivering a romantic song. He uses the natural grace of his voice, his “rugged” good looks, his confident, casual manner and respectful attention to his music to enthrall audiences worldwide from the Sydney Opera and Royal Albert Hall, to the Kennedy Center and the Chicago Theatre. At 17 he won acclaim and popularity when he performed for the Papal mass in Wroclaw Poland. Audiences won’t want to miss this opportunity to see and hear Patrizio at the start of his United States tour, stopping at Tibbits in between Chicago and Cleveland.
According to Patrizio, vocalists which have influenced him include, among others, “Julio Iglesias, The Platters, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Paul Anka, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, and Bon Jovi...expressive big charismatic voices and great talented entertainers.”
As a young four-year-old Patrizio started singing along with his parent’s records and he hasn’t stopped even though by the time he graduated from college he spoke six different languages and everyone assumed he would become an interpreter. It was apparent he had an emerging talent, the ability to sing and entertain people. Patrizio sings in both English and Italian at his concerts.
His international debut album entitled, “The Italian,” was finished at the Abbey Road Studios (made famous by The Beatles) in London, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. After its first release in February 2005, it reached the top ten on the pop charts in the United Kingdom, where it attained golden status after only one week. Following international promotion, the album was certified as platinum in South Africa, as well as across Asia, New Zealand, some European countries and even reached triple platinum status in Australia. Following international release of “The Italian,” Patrizio performed two sets of sell-out tour dates in 2006 with a six week tour of major theatres and concert venues in Australia, Asia, South Africa and Europe. Arriving in the United States, Patrizio’s live concert was broadcasted on the American public television network PBS breaking records at PBS stations across the United States which lead to his first US tour.
