Glasscon 2010!!

COLDWATER, MI— The Great Lakes Area Supernatural Society (G.L.A.S.S.) is hosting their first paranormal and historical conference, GLASSCON 2010, Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Tibbits Opera House.

The conference begins at 9 am. The vendor area will give attendees an opportunity to meet with paranormal investigators and psychic/mediums from around the area as well as local historians. Guest speakers will present their experiences about the paranormal, astrology, psychic connections and the history of Coldwater.

For those who want a more “hands on” experience into the unexplained, there will be an after hours investigation of the Tibbits and a chance to tour the theatre with real paranormal investigators.  Tibbits Opera House was a site an investigation earlier this year by the group who determined it was worth further investigation. According to Jason Shoemaker cofounder of G.L.A.S.S. “We really want to share the history of Coldwater and its great old buildings like Tibbits as well as allow people a chance to learn more about what we do. Investigations are often about finding answers, using science to explain things.”

GLASSCON 2010 is an exciting, educational and fun event for the whole family, General admission, which includes access to the vendor area is just $5.  The plus package, which includes general admission plus access to all of the speakers' presentations, is $15.  A V.I.P. Package, which includes the plus package and the after-hours investigation of the Tibbits is $35. Proceeds from this conference benefit the opera house.
