"geppetto and friends" march 20 & 21

COLDWATER, MI—

Toys, a fairy rapmother, Pinocchio and a puppet maker will be prancing and dancing as the Tibbits Young Audiences musical “Geppetto and Friends” takes over the opera house stage on March 20 and 21.

More than 40 area students have been practicing for weeks as they rehearse their lines and their dances for this family-friendly affair according to co-director Bethany Lillis.

“The cast has been working very hard and we are extremely proud of them. We're actually ahead of schedule and couldn't be happier with how the show is going,” Lillis said. “This is going to be a really fun show and we've been having a great time working on it.”

Written by award-winning playwright Val Cheatham, “Geppetto and Friends” tells the story of the puppetmaker…in its own unique, musical way. The musical comedy recalls the adventures of Geppetto in the workshop with characters like Pinocchio, toys, and a fairy rapmother who helps to make wishes for a little boy come true! At the end, even more wishes to come true!

Bring the entire family to see and capture all the fun with Geppetto. Tickets are only $5 and are available from the cast, at the door or at Tibbits Administrative Offices located at 93 W. Chicago St. during regular business hours.
