Tibbits - So much more than a Theatre

Restoration Public Campaign 2011-2012

Flamingo Flocking –

Surprise flocks of pink plastic flamingos migrated around communities in both Branch and Steuben Counties in an effort to raise funds for Tibbits restoration in 2011. These birds were pesky, but lovable and handled by our trained flockers at all times. Over $10,000 was raised in the 12-week run of flamingo flocking, with a whopping 112 homes or businesses hit in 2011. With a record like that we are hoping to raise just as much fun and funds this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for their return in June!

The birds are scheduled to invade the community June 16, 2012. Flocking victims are asked to pay an open donation to get rid of them, move the flock to a specific address, or purchase anti-flocking insurance so the birds never return. Ground rules make certain the flocking effort is understood to be for enjoyment and a contribution to a worthy cause. In any case the birds will be collected upon request and will not be left in a yard more than 48 hours.

Yard Signs –

Coroplast 18-inch by 24-inch yard signs which read Support Tibbits Restoration were given to community members who wished to help raise awareness for the restoration project throughout the summer months. One-hundred of these signs were seen throughout Branch and Steuben County.

If you are still in posession of a sign, please consider putting it out again this summer or return it to Tibbits administrative office.
