Tibbits - So much more than a Theatre

Here Is An Easy Way to Support Tibbits

Every year Tibbits looks for local housing for approximately 40 actors and technicians for the professional summer season in June, July and August from anywhere from three weeks to two and a half months. What this means is that actors/techies live with host families while working at the Tibbits Opera House. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know professional actors and technicians and see what their lives are really like!

This is what host families DO DO:

They provide a spare bedroom for the actor/technician.

This is what host families DON’T DO:

They don’t provide food, clothing, transportation, entertainment, maid or laundry services.  On top of that, actors/techies must follow house rules!

More good news for host families!

1. You get free tickets to the main stage and Popcorn Theatre shows for your family.

2. You get a small thank you gift at the end of the season.

3. You are recognized in one of the theatre programs!

4. You are supporting the local arts.
