"OUR town "
A play by Thornton Wilder is set in Grover's Corner, New Hampshire, a typical American small town. "Our Town" is a story about an average town's citizens in the early twentieth century as depicted through their everyday lives,in particular George Gibbs, a doctor's son and Emily Webb, the daughter of the town's newspaper editor. Beginning with daily life's routines and necessities, the play reveals an American family's personal lives. Join us for a look at life in a simpler time although the daily routines, habits and rituals in the story still exist and help bind our society through a mutual commonality that affects us in a personal way.
