POPCORN THEATRE KICKS IT UP A NOTCH WITH A TORTOISE AND HARE CHARACTER LUNCHEON

COLDWATER, MI—

COLDWATER – Sometimes you just don’t want the play to end. Well, on Friday, July 11, it doesn’t have to.

All one has to do to prolong the enjoyment of “The Tortoise and the Hare and Other Fables by Aesop” is head on out to the Creal Soccer Complex, 511 Marshall Road, immediately after the 10 am performance. Once there, relax and enjoy a character luncheon filled with all kinds of exciting and creative activities. The cost is $20 a person and includes the price of a ticket to the show.

Actors still in costume will be reading additional tales from the beloved Aesop’s Fables before, during and after the buffet luncheon. The fun doesn’t end there. Additional activities include Tortoise and Hare reenactment races for all, crafts and games provided by Education Station, opportunities for photos with the actors, and much more.  

Thanks go to Allegis Credit Union and Kellogg Community College for sponsoring this exciting, fun-filled character luncheon on Friday, July 11, from noon to 3 pm.

Anyone unable to attend Friday’s performance can still see “The Tortoise and the Hare and Other Fables by Aesop” at 10 am on Saturday, July 5, or Saturday, July 12.

Tickets for the character luncheon, which includes the price of the performance, are available at Tibbits box office, open 10 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday.
