ANOTHER HOLE-IN-ONE FOR TIBBITS

COLDWATER, MI—

Ninety-six area residents enjoyed a day of golf recently as they participated in the Tibbits Golf Tournament which netted nearly $13,000 for the opera house.

The tournament was held Monday, June 30, at the Golf Club of Coldwater located at 270 Narrows Road, Coldwater, all in the name of raising funds for Tibbits general operations. Mark Ludlow, Chairman of the event, said, “I continue to be amazed with the generosity of local businesses, industry, and individuals within our community. We are blessed to have a cultural gem such as Tibbits Opera House in our community for not only providing wonderful arts and entertainment but as an economic vehicle as well.”

“We would especially like to thank our event sponsors for their support.” emphasized Executive Director Christine Delaney. “Without the generous support of our title sponsor, Monarch Community Bank, and all the other event sponsors, hole sponsors and volunteers, our success would not have been possible.”

Winners of the event in the Men’s Division were 1st Place, Brad Parrish, Rob Smith Leon Parrish, Frank Pytlowany; 2nd Place, Ralph LaGro, Corey LaGro, Lars Haglund, Alex Watkins; 3rd Place, Mike Galliers, Matt Galliers, Kevin Wischmeyer, Korey Wischmeyer.

Winners of the event in the Women’s Division were 1st Place, Dawn Gallup, Michelle Sheppard, Denise Wilson, Lisa Kubel; 2nd Place, Pat Sampsel, Joanie Cox, Lynnette Wintersteen, Bev Ohm; 3rd Place, Lori Bopp, Alison LaBarre, Kelly Aker, Amy Smith.

Winners of the event in the Mixed Division were 1st Place, Jody Lewis, Bill Cary, Wayne Case, Wayne Gamble; 2nd Place, Lynn Wilcox, Kitty Wilcox, Jan Robinson, Bill Robinson.
