Aisling Halpin (actor) is a junior Musical Theatre major at Syracuse University from Cortland, NY. She is so excited to be working at Tibbits this summer! Favorite credits include: “Little Women” (Amy March) at Syracuse Stage, “Oklahoma!” (Dream Laurey) at Syracuse University, “High School Musical” (ensemble) at Merry Go Round Playhouse, “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” (Shy) at Cortland Repertory Theatre, “Sunfish: A New Musical” (storyteller) with Maximum Entertainment, and “The Who’s Tommy” (Sally Simpson) at SUNY Cortland. She would like to thank Mom, Dad, and Cassie for their love and support, and her friends who always believe in her.

Ali Gritz* (actor/ Choreographer for “Goldilocks” and “On Broadway”) is honored to be returning to Tibbits for her fourth summer season! You may recognize Ali from roles such as Dorothy Shaw in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," Chrissy in "Hair" and the title tole in "Sweet Charity." Ali has also been seen in such roles as Elvira in "Blithe Spirit," Roz in "Moon Over Buffalo," Lois/Bianca in "Kiss Me Kate," and Linda in "Blood Brothers." Ali has also been in the National Tour of “A Christmas Carol” as well as performed in New York National Dance Week. Ali is thrilled to have the opportunity to choreograph as well as be on the stage this summer. Other choreography credits include "Hair," "Evita," "No Way To Treat A Lady," "Blood Brothers," and assistant choreography for "Hoop City," NCAA Basketball's March Madness (CBS). Ali graduated from Western Illinois University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Thanks to Charles, my wonderful boo, and my amazingly supportive family and friends!

Amy Lamberti (actor) is thrilled to be making her Tibbits debut! She is currently a musical theatre major at SUNY Cortland and will be starting her Senior year in the Fall. Credits include “Rent” (Alexi Darling), “Thoroughly Modern Millie” (Ruth), “Dog Sees God” (Van’s Sister), “Sweeney Todd,” “Guys And Dolls,” “Tommy,” “Once Upon a Mattress,” as well as a world premiere musical, “Luna Park.” She would like to thank everyone at Tibbits for this amazing opportunity. Brian Sage* is very happy to be returning to the Tibbits. Most recently, he completed his Masters of Fine Arts in acting at Wayne State University as a member of the Hilberry Repertory Theatre. Brian performed in 15 of the 18 shows produced in his three years and spent a month training at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia. Brian is looking forward to exploring post graduation opportunities in the Metro Detroit area as both an actor and educator. Recent roles at the Tibbits include: Man #2 in I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE; Gordon Miller in ROOM SERVICE; Professor Bhaer in LITTLE WOMEN; Howard in PICNIC; Margaret Meade in HAIR.

Dick Baker (actor) is absolutely thrilled to be working for the Tibbits Summer Theatre! Having grown up in the Finger Lakes area of Upstate New York, he's excited to finally see what the Great Lakes are all about. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre at SUNY Cortland. Previous credits include “Hair” and “Altar Boyz” at The American Stage Theatre, the first staged version of a brand new musical “Swing for Victory” and the national tour cast of “Bathhouse: The Musical!” He dedicates this performance to his father Bruce, who has and always will be, a towel. I love you pops. You are the definition of a man.

Douglas Robbins (actor) is a proud musical theatre major at SUNY Cortland. He most recently played Sweeney Todd in “Sweeney Todd.” He also happily dance captained his college's productions of “Guys and Dolls” and “Rent.” Past roles include Swiss Cheese in “Mother Courage,” Laurie in “Little Women” and Sonny in “Grease.” He also teaches Jazz and Tap to young dancers in his hometown of Cortland. He would like to thank Tibbits Opera House for this wonderful opportunity as well for Kevin and Cindy for all their constant support and help. Gloria Logan* (actor) directed, designed and choreographed over 100 productions during her 30-year teaching career. Upon retirement the theatre where she worked was named – THE GLORIA LOGAN AUDITORIUM FOR PERFORMING ARTS, to honor her career. Gloria was twice selected as both Michigan’s Theatre Teacher of the Year and Eastern Michigan University’s Most Distinguished Alumna. Additionally, she has received numerous national and international performance awards. She has been a Tibbits Opera House favorite for many years playing roles from Bessie in “Marvin’s Room” to Tessie Tura in “Gypsy.” Other favorite regional roles include: Golde-“Fiddler on the Roof,” Blanche-“Brighton Beach Memoirs,” Lucille-“The Cemetery Club”, Artie-“Eleemosynary,” Melissa-“Love Letters,” Maria-“Lend Me A Tenor,” Gloria –“Grace & Glorie” and Miss Clariee in “Steel Magnolias” numerous times from the Tibbits to The Kentucky Repertory Theatre. If you watch TV Chicago you may recognize her from her TV commercial appearances or from last summer’s Tibbit’s production of “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” and “Leading Ladies.” Her greatest joy is her continued ‘family’ connection with her former students, both those in and out of the Theatre. As always she credits the love of her life, husband Norman, for making life so easy to love. Special Thanks to Jo Dean who warmly shares her home. |

Greg Pragel* (actor) is very excited to be back at Tibbits and a part of this amazing season. He is originally from Buffalo, NY where he graduated from Niagara University. Since then, he has performed with such regional houses as Mill Mountain Theatre; the Renaissance Center; Theater at Monmouth; Prather Entertainment Group; Great Plains Theatre; and Sesame Street Live! He was also a Resident Company Member & the Fight Choreographer of Playhouse on the Square. Some of his favorite roles have been Malcolm MacGreggor in “The Full Monty”; The Cat in the Hat in “Seussical”; Scapin in “Scapin”; All Roles in “Greater Tuna” & “A Tuna Christmas”; Pastor Oglethorpe in “Smoke on the Mountain”; and Woof in “HAIR”. Greg would like to thank Ray & Bev for giving him a 2nd home, CB & Ray for being such a great friends & teachers, his mentor Tim, his inspiration Ali, and his friends and family for all the love and support.

Jared Wietbrock* (actor) is delighted to be returning to the Tibbits Stage for his second summer! He had a blast last season playing Hud in “Hair” (peace and love to the Tribe!) and in the ensemble of “Gentleman Prefer Blondes,” and earned the title of “Popcorn King” by appearing in all three Popcorn shows. Other favorite roles include Bud Frump in “How to Succeed…,” Man #1 in “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” and ensemble roles in “Sweeny Todd” and “Pippin.” Many thanks to my friends and family, especially Mom.

Kiersten Vorheis* (actor) is excited to be returning to Tibbits, you may remember her as Nicky in “Sweet Charity,” Widow Corney in “Oliver!,” Jan in “Grease”, or Fern / Goose in “Charlotte's Web.” Kiersten hails from Clinton Iowa, is an Indiana University Graduate, and now calls the Louisville, KY area home base. She performs around the country for several regional theatres, recent favorite roles include: Mayor Matilda Hyde in “All Shook Up,” Amnesia in “Nunsense,” and both June and Vera Sanders in “Smoke on the Mountain.” Kiersten thanks the Scheidlers and the Foleys for welcoming me into their homes and making my summers of '05, '06, and '07 here at Tibbits full of great memories, including sharing the stage again with her fiance Paul Kerr, another Tibbits Alum. Thank you to Charles for this wonderful opportunity, to my family and friends for their constant love and support. Kierstin Elliott* (actor) is a Junior at Wayne State University pursuing a degree in dance performance. While at Wayne State she has assumed the position of student representative for her class in the dance department and is a member of Company One, touring to elementary schools in the Detroit area. Kierstin has also worked with guest artists such as Ray Mercer, Nicholas Leichter, Janis Brenner and Sonya Tayeh as well as other choreographers at the American College Dance Festival. This is Kierstin’s second summer at Tibbits and she is absolutely thrilled to be back! “I want to thank each and every person who has inspired, encouraged and supported me throughout the years.”

Orion Silvertree (actor) is back in Coldwater this summer performing in “The Emperor’s New Clothes” and “Crazy for You.” This is Orion's sixth season with the Tibbits. Previous appearances on our stage include “Room Service,” “Arsenic and Old Lace,” “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “Leading Ladies” and “The Desperate Hours.” He's also very proud of his ongoing relationship with local troupe Young Michigan Dances, with roles in “The Emperor and the Nightengale,” “Legends of the Great North Woods,” “The Snow Girl” and this year's revival of “Legends.” Orion recently moved to Chicago where he was immediately cast in Lanford Wilson’s “Book of Days.” |

Paul Kerr* (actor) We are supposed to write our "bio" in the Third Person. I would like to break that precedent by talking directly to you, the Tibbit's audience. Thank You so much for your support of live theatre. Keep bringing your children and grandchildren. I have performed throughout the country, last year at Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo as Scrooge in a National Tour of “A Christmas Carol.” I love coming back to my home state. Michigan theatres are very special to me. I just finished “Club Morocco” at Encore Music Theatre in Dexter and am spending the fall in Marshall at Cornwell's in “Smoke on the Mountain”. Then on the road again for a second tour of “A Christmas Carol.” Thanks to Charles, brilliant director and Friend. Thanks Christine, for keeping everything running. Profound thanks to Ruth and John Scheidler for teaching why I still do this. And Kiersten, my life, my breath, let's keep playing!

Ryan McDonald* (actor) is thrilled to be returning to the stage here at Tibbit's. He has recently been seen as Mark in "Rent". Other noted roles include Charlie Brown in "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown", Tobias Ragg in "Sweeney Todd", Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls", Cousin Kevin in "The Who's Tommy", and Gus Esmond in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" as well as being involved in productions such as "Hair", "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "Cabaret". Tim Fuchs* (actor) is very excited to be back again for another summer at Tibbits! He is a sophomore musical theater major at SUNY Cortland in Central New York. Last summer he was seen on the Tibbits stage in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” (Henry), “The Princess and the Pea” (Troll), and “Hair” (Steve). Other credits include “Rent” (Angel), “Sweeney Todd” (Pirelli), and “You're A Good Man Charlie Brown” (Linus). He loves to sing, dance, skateboard, snowboard, play piano and saxophone, and write music. Carolyn Bertrand (Music Director for “On Broadway”), a native Michigander, grew up in the Detroit area. She received a Bachelor of Music Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. Carolyn has been involved in music performance for many years in professional opera, musical theater productions, vocal recitals and church choir directing. She has received vocal coaching from Marilyn Horne, Judith Christin and Martin Katz, all of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Carolyn has worked in public and private schools K-12 and taught private piano and voice lessons to elementary through college level students. She has been the artistic or music director for many shows including “Bye, Bye, Birdie,” “Honk!” “Hello Dolly!” “The Pirates of Penzance,” “My Fair Lady” and “Cinderella.” She is the wife of Lane Bertrand and mother to three children, Stephanie Miller, Christina Meyers and Jack Bertrand. Carolyn is excited to be making her debut at Tibbits this season. |

Cheryl VanDuzen* |
Cheryl VanDuzen* (Music Director for “Crazy For You” and “…Spelling Bee”) resides in Milan, Michigan. She has served as Musical Director for several productions including “Guys and Dolls,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Forum” and “Hello, Dolly!” She spent over a year on the national tour of “Grease” as conductor, where she worked with Frankie Avalon, Fabian, Chubby Checker, Erik Estrada and Charo. Cheryl received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Michigan School of Music. She is very pleased to be back at the Tibbits this summer where she has spent many, many happy summers and was Music Director most recently for “The Goodbye Girl” and “The Bop She Bops.” |

Kevin Halpin* (Director/Choreographer for “Crazy For You”) is thrilled to be coming back to Tibbits . Recent Tibbits credits as director choreographer include “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “Sweet Charity,” “Grease,” “They’re Playing Our Song” and long time Tibbits patrons may remember “The Music Man” or his season as a performer at Tibbits in 1985. Other favorite directing and choreography credits include: “Assassins,” “Chicago,” “Sweeney Todd,” “Godspell,” “Carousel,” “Guys and Dolls,” “She Loves Me,” “Anything Goes” and the World Premiers of a new musical “Luna Park.” Kevin was the director of Dance and Musical Theatre specialist at Millikin University from 1996-1999. In 1999 he moved back to New York to establish and head the Musical Theatre Degree Program at SUNY Cortland, which he remains the director of. He is proudest of his collaborations with his wife and Tibbits alum Cynthia Stroud Halpin; their daughters Aisling and Cassidy. As always he dedicates his work to the three of them, with whom everything is possible without whom nothing matters. |

Ray Gabica* (Director for 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), that's American English for the Basque name Gabicagogeascoa. Ray comes from Western Illinois University where he is a 28-year member of the faculty. Though he is the costume designer for the Department of Theatre and Dance, he has often succeeded in the realm of directing (“Equus,” “Blood Brothers,” “Harold & Maude,” “Evita,” “Quilt – A Celebration,” “Tibetan Book of the Dead” for WIU; “History Boys” and “Little Women” for the West Central Illinois Center for the Arts; and, very “Little Women,” “Hair” for the Tibbits), just to name a few. As an actor at WIU, several of the roles he has performed are Phil Hogan in “Moon for the Misbegotten,” Grandpa Joad in “Grapes of Wrath,” C. S. Lewis in “Shadowlands,” Garcon in “Pablo Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” Herr Schultz in “Cabaret,” and a company member in “The Laramie Project.” Ray’s role in the Davenport, IA area include Morrie Schultz in “Tuesday with Morrie” and James Tyrone in “Long Day’s Journey into Night,” for which he gained high plaudits Having just spent over five months traveling throughout Europe (London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Budapest, Prague) while on sabbatical teaching at the Roosevelt Academy, he is happy to be living at home at last!! Ray still considers having successfully completed the 630-plus miles of each AIDS RIDES (6 DAY) from Minneapolis to Chicago on his bicycle, five times, as his most significant feat! |

Trinity Bird* (Director for “On Broadway” and “Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs”) is thrilled to be back in the director's seat for his fifth season with Tibbits Summer Theatre. Trinity directed last summer's production of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change." A native of Bronson, he studied directing at Grand Valley State University. Favorite directing credits include "A Separate Peace," "Lost in Yonkers," "A Year with Frog and Toad," "Hair," "Psycho Beach Party," "How to Eat Fried Worms," "Love! Valour! Compassion," "Pippin," "Biloxi Blues" and two productions of "South Pacific." Favorite onstage roles include Japheth in "Two by Two," Pickering in "My Fair Lady," Nicely in "Guys and Dolls," El Gallo in "The Fantasticks" and Lady Bracknell in "The Importance of Being Earnest." Trinity has loved every second of collaborating with Charles Burr this season and is also thrilled to get back to the land of Popcorn Theatre. Andy Broomell (Scenic Design) is currently pursuing his BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. He is excited to be working with the cast and crew of Tibbits for the first time this summer. Favorite designs include “Rent,” “Peter Pan,” “She Loves Me,” “What the Butler Saw” and “Hair.” Andy’s work on “Never the Sinner” in 2009 won the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Special Judges’ Award for Outstanding Projections Design. Erin Tucker* |
Erin Tucker* (Costume Design for “Crazy For You” and “…Spelling Bee”) is thrilled to be a part of this exciting and diverse summer season! She is a graduate of Western Illinois University in costume design, some of her favorite projects there included “A Streetcar Named Desire” and “Oedipus.” Erin just completed a costume design internship, and also the design of Shear Madness at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Jeffrey Hannah |
Jeffrey Hannah (Lighting Design) is a Michigan native who is thrilled to be back in his home state. Originally from Troy, he holds a Bachelors degree in Theatre Performance from Oakland University, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Lighting Design at the University of Illinois. His career has taken him to Greece, performing with the University of Detroit Mercy’s Classical Greek Theatre program, to Missouri where he served as an intern at the Ozark Actors Theatre, and to Chelsea where he served as an apprentice at the Purple Rose Theatre Company. His design credits for theatre and dance include “Medea” and “Tartuffe” for the Michigan Classical Repertory Theatre; “Hansel & Gretel,” “The Crucible,” “Studio Dance I” and “Truth Game” for the University of Illinois. Jeffrey would like to thank all those who have offered their support over the years, but most especially to the Purple Rose Theatre Company for sharing their vision of what theatre can be, and his wife Theresa for all the generosity and understanding she consistently gives. Kelly Teitsworth (Properties) is a senior majoring in Performing Arts at Iowa State University. Kelly will be graduating from Iowa State in the fall of 2010 with a Performing Arts degree and an emphasis in Acting and Directing. In the last year, she worked as Prop Master for all of Iowa State’s main stage productions. Those productions include “Odd Couple,” “Twelfth Night,” “The Importance of Being Earnest,” “The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds” and “Guys and Dolls.” She would like to thank her classmates from Iowa State for the unbelievable amount of encouragement and friendship. Theresa Hartman |
Theresa Hartman (Costume Design for “On Broadway” and “Run For Your Wife”) is currently a graduate student in the Theatre Arts and Cinema program at Virginia Tech. She's originally from Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University with a BA in Theatre Design and Technology in 2008. She has designed costumes for a number of productions at Virginia Tech and Wayne State, including "The Skin of Our Teeth," "Bus Stop," and "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." She also has experience as a scenic and prop designer. This is her first season as a professional designer. |

Chris Aler* |
Chris Aler* (Technical Director) is excited to be returning to Tibbits Summer Theatre and hopes you enjoy the entire summer season that Tibbits has to offer. After a successful year at Bradley University where he served as Technical Director for “Fences” and Properties Master for “Twelfth Night”, Chris directed two plays which have never been produced before. One play, “Two’s a Scandal, Four’s a Murder” was written by a fellow student and the other, “The Jersey Kid”, was a piece created by an Alumni of Bradley university. He would like to thank everyone that has supported this production and hopes you enjoy the show. |

Johanna Miller |
Johanna Miller (Carpenter) grew up in a small farming community of Delavan, IL where she went to high school. She went to Illinois Central College for her first two years then transferred to Bradley University, where she is studying for a Bachelor of Science Degree Theatre Arts with a concentration in Production, mainly focusing on Lighting and Scenic design. She is currently a Junior and is anticipating graduation Spring '11. Her most recent production credits include “Stuart Little” as Lighting Designer, “Twelfth Night” as Assistant Scenic Designer and Assistant Scenic Paint. She has also worked in the Bradley University scene shop as a carpenter/painter. |

| Kari Warning |
Kari Warning (Production Stage Manager) recently graduated with a BA in Theatre from Western Illinois University. There she worked in the costume shop and also gained various other technical experience. Her favorite credits at WIU include “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” directed by Ray Gabica, (Stage Manager), “Samarai” (Assistant Stage Manager), the WIU touring production of “Hansel and Gretel: The New Story” (Costume Designer), and “Dead Man’s Cell Phone” (Costume Designer). This is Kari’s first season working at Tibbits and she is very excited to be here. She would like to thank her parents and Corey and Mallory for all of their support and love. |

| Laura Herbst |
Laura Herbst (Costumer) is ecstatic to be joining the Tibbits crew this summer. She graduated from Loretto Academy High School, El Paso, Texas, in 2008 and just finished her second year as a theatre and English double major at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. She has been the costume shop manager at Briar Cliff for the past year. Laura designed costumes for “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” and “No Exit.” |

| Liz Goble |
Liz Goble (Scenic Artist) recently graduated from Michigan State University with an MFA in Production Design, emphasizing in scenic design. She has designed the scenery for MSU and Summer Circle Theatre and painted for MSU, SCT as well as other professional and educational organizations, including New Harmony Theatre in Indiana and The Williamston Theatre in Michigan. She has had the pleasure of working with New York directors and designers, including Dev Janki, Scott Burkell, Rob Odorisio and Tijana Bjelajac. Liz is a passionate artist for the theatre, as well as for private, commissioned and personal work in a variety of media, including painting, papier maché, fabric dyeing, sculpture, drawing and glass & mosaic work. In addition to being a practicing artist, she plans to pursue work in children’s theatre, specifically with underprivileged or at-risk children. |

Mark Abrahamson |
Mark R Abrahamson (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be here for his first season at Tibbits. He has had theater in his life since he was a kid and is very happy that hes actually good at it. He would like to thank everyone who has helped him along over the years especially his two best friends, Katie and Jeff. Previous credits include “Rent” (Stage Manager), “Sweeney Todd” (Stage Manager), “Guys and Dolls” (Assistant Stage Manager), “Luna Park” (Stage Manager) and many others at SUNY Cortland. He has also had the pleasure of being an Assistant Stage Manager at Merry Go Round Playhouse for their 2009 Summer Season. Break A Leg Everyone!! |

| Matthew Rogers |
Matthew Rogers (Master Elec. and Light Board Operator) hails from Saginaw, MI, where he began studying theatrical design and production skills at Pit and Balcony Community Theatre under the tutelage of Lee-Perry Belleau and Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy in the Theatre Concentration. Currently Rogers attends Interlochen Arts Academy and his major area of study is Theatrical Design and Production. His recent design credits include Lighting Design for Interlochen's "Hotel Paradiso" and for Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy's "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." He has also acted as Technical Director for "Back to the 80's," "Picasso Becomes You" and the "SVSU Humanities Series." Recent production credits include Sound Board Operator for Interlochen's "Antigone" and Light Board Operator for Interlochen's Student Directed One-Acts. |

| Rachel Robinson |
Rachel Robinson is thrilled to be joining the Tibbits team this summer! Though originally from
Dayton, Ohio, she has spent the past year in Pittsburgh at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where she is studying theatrical design and will be focusing on scenic design. Shaun Reis |
Shaun Reis (Carpenter) comes from a small town north of Chicago, Johnsburg IL. Graduating from Johnsburg High school, he is now in pursuit of a Bachelors degree from Lindenwood University in Theatrical Design/Technology. At the university Shaun has worked on many shows and with a small theatre company in Libertyville Illinois where he is the lead technician and in charge of all the technical aspects of the company. Shaun has also worked with Saint Louis Shakespeare working as a light board operator and as a carpenter. In addition, Shaun has worked with Troika as a local on 3 of there shows in the past two years. |
