Join us for Tibbits…Under the Big Top, Tibbits’ annual auction to be held starting at 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the opera house.

This year’s circus-themed event will be a casual evening of fun, food, spirits, and bidding. Bring your friends and family and enjoy free food and drinks while browsing through hundreds of ever-popular items including special dinner parties, gift baskets, crafts, holiday items, and gift certificates donated by area businesses, and countless other items that just might become your newest treasure.

The auction is a great place to start your annual holiday shopping. Find unique items while helping support Tibbits through one of its most important annual fundraisers. If you have not experienced a live auction, you will be able to see how it works and try your hand at bidding in a low-key atmosphere.

The silent auction begins at 6 pm in the lower level art gallery with the main auction beginning on stage at 8 pm. Auctioneer services are once again generously provided by internationally renowned auctioneer Dave Norton and Norton Auctioneers. Norton and his company have been involved in the Tibbits Auction every year since its inception.

For $5, try your chance at winning $1,000. This year’s grand prize winner of the raffle walks away with $1,000 in cash. Second prize winner of the raffle will receive $250 in cash and the third prize winner will receive two Tibbits Summer Theatre season tickets. Only 800 raffle tickets are being sold, so the odds are good! This raffle is sponsored by Great Lakes Chiropractic and Spinal Rehab Center and Great Lakes Health & Fitness.
